I have been invited as Keynote speaker at the 29th International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD2021). The conference will be hosted by Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, on 8-10 September. The theme of ISD2021 is Crossing boundaries between Development and Operations (DevOps) in Information Systems. In my keynote, I introduce the Data Science Task Force of the Valencia Region for fighting the COVID-10 pandemics. We achieve to develop accurate computational epidemiological models that were complemented with human mobility studies, and information from a citizen survey called COVID19 impact survey. Our work has received national and international recognition, including being the global winners of the 500k XPRIZE Pandemic Response Challenge. I briefly described these models and how information systems can feed these models to help against the COVID-19 pandemics.
